Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili is paying an official visit to the Holy See (Vatican).
The presidential press service referred to it as a historic visit since the sides will sign the Memorandum of Cooperation for the first time in the history of Georgian-Vatican diplomatic relations.
“The meetings on the first day addressed the possibilities of communication that will allow Georgian students and researchers to study in the training laboratories of the Vatican Museum and undergo internship.
The second direction of cooperation is related to exhibitions. The third is the involvement of the Vatican Museum representatives in the ongoing restoration and conservation works in Georgia”, the presidential press service reported.
