GD's Mdinaradze: We'll overturn Zourabichvili's veto on amendments to election code

Mamuka Mdinaradze, the chairman of the Georgian Dream faction, on Monday, said that they would overturn Salome Zourabichvili’s veto on amendments to the election code.

Mdinaradze noted that “the opposition wants their party representatives in the CEC to have the means to block decisions.”

“They refined such a message box – the one-party CEC when there are nine parties, including Georgian Dream. Decisions are made by representatives from nine different parties as well as professionals.

As a result, the opposition’s message under the leadership of Salome Zourabichvili is absolutely speculative,” Mdinaradze asserted.
