GD’s Mdinaradze: We caution against use of AI and deceptive narratives
“As we enter the final week before the elections, we can confidently assert that these elections in Georgia are unprecedented. No opposition party is actively engaging with voters; instead, their campaigns rely heavily on media activities and content creation for television and social networks, often with external support,” stated Mamuka Mdinaradze, the executive secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream party.
Mdinaradze emphasized that the Georgian Dream is the only party working directly with voters.
“It is extraordinary that, in the current context, there are no credible allegations of administrative resource misuse or bribery. We have a complaint against the opposition parties, particularly the UNM, for neglecting to address the significant imbalance created by their media outlets, which have not aired our campaign videos.
They seem to have resigned themselves to failure and appear more focused on agendas other than achieving positive election outcomes.
Today, we will confront the fabricated campaign associated with election manipulation. None of the parties, including the four affiliated parties, are actively campaigning; the only party engaging directly with voters is Georgian Dream.
We advise against using artificial intelligence and deceptive narratives to influence the public,” he added.
