GD's Gorduladze: President's Charter violates sovereignty; winning party to form gov't
“The President’s Charter is a charter of war and violation of sovereignty. Talk of a technical caretaker government is no longer even funny; the party that wins the election will name the government,” stated Archil Gorduladze, the Georgian Dream party member.
According to him, the formation of the government is for the Georgian people to decide.
“They were demanding the creation of a technical government two years ago as well. The President’s Charter is a charter of war, a charter of violating the country’s sovereignty. No one is asking them about forming the government – they should read the Constitution and see what it states. It states that it’s up to the Georgian people to decide who forms the government. The party that wins the election will name the government. It is not their business, who will be in the government because they are still waiting for orders. Talk of a caretaker government is no longer even funny,” Gorduladze noted.
