The subcommittee on the Enforcement of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) rulings of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) met in Zagreb at the Croatian Parliament.
Givi Mikanadze, MP of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party, chaired the sitting.
Thirty MPs from 20 countries participated in the sitting, which focused on the role of national parliaments. Vice Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Justice Minister and Croatia’s Permanent Representative in PACE addressed the participants.
The sitting attendees got familiarized with the experience of the Czech Republic, Slovenia and Croatia. The sitting participants defined recommendations for future activities.
