GD Ionatamishvili: Salome Zourabichvili becomes source of misinformation

Rati Ionatamishvili, a member of the Georgian Dream party, criticized President Salome Zourabichvili when commenting to the GPB First Channel.

According to Ionatamishvili, Zourabichvili is no longer representing the true sentiments and desires of the Georgian people, but rather, the “dreams and fantasies of her task givers.”

“This has placed Zourabishvili in an awkward and historically difficult position. If she fails to correct her course, she risks becoming one of the primary sources of misinformation in Georgian history,” he said.

This criticism follows Zourabichvili’s recent interview with Le Figaro, in which she claimed that the ruling Georgian Dream party had been weakened following the spring protests and could not secure more than 25 percent in polls.
