GD initiates meeting to discuss EU integration recommendations, urges opposition to join
Beka Odisharia, a member of the parliamentary majority, emphasized the importance of an inclusive process regarding the nine-point plan during a meeting with political groups and civil society representatives on January 29. He urged the opposition to join the working meeting, describing it as the last chance for them to demonstrate support for Georgia’s European aspirations.
The meeting, scheduled for January 29, is aimed at discussing recommendations within the nine-point plan.
“Georgian Dream has already been working on various directions, and the platform provides an opportunity for everyone to express their views. We hope that the opposition, non-governmental organizations, and all concerned individuals would participate in the discussion,” Odisharia declared.
According to Anri Okhanashvili, the chairman of the Legal Affairs Committee, the working meeting aims to involve representatives from political groups, civil society, the parliamentary majority, and opposition. The goal is to facilitate an inclusive discussion on the nine-point plan and its recommendations.
