GD Honorary Chair calls on voters to elect government serving Georgian people

Bidzina Ivanishvili Honorary Chair of of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party voted in the 2024 parliamentary elections. He arrived at the polling station together with his family members.

Bidzina Ivanishvil told reporters that making a choice was easy for Georgian voters today.

“I want to call on society to vote. The choice is easy to make, either we choose a government, which will serve the Georgian people, society, and our motherland and care for the country, or you choose foreign agents, who will only fulfil other countries’ instructions,” he said.

According to the GD Honorary Chair, foreign countries have special interests in the October 26 elections.

“The country, which is ruled by agents, who are in politics, has an instruction to drag Georgia into military hostilities. Trust me, this will not take time and will happen instantly, and instead of caring for the country’s development, we will receive a catastrophe and ruins. Besides, we should clear Georgian politics from criminals to build a society with no antagonism, hate speech and polarization.

Polarization is the ground that one part of politicians is trying to pave the way for peace, and victory, while the other serves foreign agents and foreign countries. These agent politicians try to do what foreign country is interested in and this interest is the war that is unfortunately raging in our neighbourhood,” he stated.

The 2024 parliamentary elections are held on October 26 in Georgia.
