GD Honorary Chair Bidzina Ivanishvili attends Political Council meeting

A Political Council meeting of the Georgian Dream party was convened at the party’s central office.

During the meeting, the party’s Honorary Chairman, Bidzina Ivanishvili, put forward Irakli Kobakhidze’s candidacy for the position of Prime Minister to the Political Council.

In addition, the Georgian Dream parliamentary faction plans to nominate Shalva Papuashvili for Speaker of Parliament.

The Political Council also addressed several other matters, including budgetary issues.

Furthermore, as announced by Mamuka Mdinaradze, the Executive Secretary of Georgian Dream, the date for the presidential elections will be determined in the coming days.
