GD Executive Secretary: Georgia will never question its territorial integrity
Mamuka Mdinaradze, Executive Secretary of Georgian Dream, has firmly denied accusations by opponents that the ruling party plans to recognize the independence of Abkhazia and the so-called South Ossetia or discuss anti-national issues.
Mdinaradze emphasized that Georgia will never question its territorial integrity and will not agree to any form of confederation, which would imply recognizing the independence of the occupied territories. He reiterated that Georgia’s path to reunification is through peace, development, reconciliation, and mutual forgiveness, not war.
“The idea of a united Georgia is our Georgian dream, which will surely come true. No recognition of independence or similar anti-national issues are being discussed,” Mdinaradze stated, accusing opponents of spreading false information to influence the elections.
