GD Executive Secretary condemns obstruction of journalistic activities
Mamuka Mdinaradze, the Executive Secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party, voiced his support for journalists who have fallen victim to “bullying, pressure, and criminal acts.”
Mdinaradze emphasized that obstructing journalistic activities is entirely unacceptable.
“Impediments to the professional duties of journalists constitute a violation under the Criminal Code of Georgia. Unfortunately, journalists from radical opposition media outlets often turn a blind eye to the bullying and humiliation faced by their colleagues, passively observing the obstruction of journalistic activities. I urge them to demonstrate solidarity with their peers and to speak out in their defence,” Mdinaradze declared.
