GD Executive Secretary commends police for ensuring peaceful law enforcement
“I would like to express my gratitude to the Georgian police and the Minister of Internal Affairs for the peaceful enforcement of the law. A small group of individuals and the agent opposition cannot paralyze the capital; the Georgian state will not tolerate such actions,” stated Mamuka Mdinaradze, Executive Secretary of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party, during a briefing.
Mdinaradze further noted that the radical opposition has been encouraged by recent visits from foreign politicians to Georgia.
“This extremism, orchestrated by the agent opposition, has been fuelled by the foreign politicians who visited Georgia in recent days. They have encouraged these agents, called for a Maidan, and then returned to their home countries,” he added.
