GD Chair: Russia-Georgia railway traffic issue not on agenda

Georgian Dream party Chair, Irakli Kobakhidze, on Sunday, underscored that the railway traffic issue between Russia and Georgia “is not on the agenda.” “Hence, it is appropriate to make this topic current.”

Alluding to Russia’s direct flight ban lift and visa waiver with Georgia, Kobakhidze said that “At one point, the Russian Federation imposed punishment on Georgian citizens unilaterally. This penalty was removed today.”

He voiced the ruling team’s “clear and unambiguous” stance that “We do not impose sanctions on the Russian Federation.”
