French Foreign Minister visits Georgia

French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna arrived in Georgia on Friday.

Teimuraz Janjalia, Georgia’s Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, greeted the French diplomat at Tbilisi International Airport.

Catherine Colonna will meet with her Georgian counterpart, Ilia Darchiashvili, the MFA reported. The two ministers will hold a joint press point.

The French Minister will also meet with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and President Salome Zourabichvili. It is the first visit by France’s foreign minister to Georgia since 2018.
