“Georgia is partly free country,“ Freedom House says in its latest report – “Freedom in the World 2020.“ Georgia scored almost two-thirds (61 per cent). It should be noted that our country had 63 points in last year’s report.
Besides Georgia, Armenia (53 points) also belongs to Partly Free countries.
Russia (20 points), Azerbaijan (10 points) and Turkey (32 points) were placed in the category of Not Free.
Among the free countries, Freedom House named Finland, Sweden and Norway.
As for the internet freedom, Georgia scored 75/100.
Freedom House noted in its website that the full “Freedom in the World 2020“ report for Georgia will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
