Four employees of the Republican Hospital infected with coronavirus

According to Levan Gopodze, the director of the Republican Hospital, 34 patients are treated at the clinic, 10 are diagnosed with coronavirus.

According to him, four of them are employees of the Republican Hospital.

“Four of the medical staff were confirmed to be infected with COVID-19, yesterday was the first case and today three were added. We have been constantly warning everyone, including the population, that infection has gone nowhere, it is next to us and we should observe the rules” – Levan Gopodze said.

According to Gopodze, they have no information about the source of the infection and the Center for Disease Control is working in this direction.

“It is very difficult to say the source. The first confirmed was cleaner, who did not have direct contact with patients”, – Gopodze said.
