Former head of Criminal Police Department released on bail

Zaza (Zurab) Bakradze, former head of the Criminal Police Department, has been released on 5 000 GEL bail. Prosecutor’s office granted the motion of Bakradze’s lawyer.

Zaza (Zurab) Bakradze, who stands accused in Amiran (Buta) Robakidze’s case (Georgian youth killed during the special operation) pleaded guilty on PalitraNews talk show a few months ago and accused Guram Donadze, former head of the Press Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and former patrol police chief Zurab Mikadze of blackmailing him.

He also said that Guram Donadze has the real video footage showing the murder of Buta Robakidze.
