Foreign Ministry in contact with Mexican Migration Service

Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stays in contact with the Mexican Migration Service to determine the whereabouts of abducted Georgian citizens.

The Ministry told the GPB’s First Channel that the embassy communicates with the family members of those Georgian citizens, who asked for help.

Reportedly, a criminal gang abducted about 30 Georgian citizens near the US-Mexico border, who were trying to reach the US border through Mexico.
