For Georgia party to run independently in upcoming elections

Beka Liluashvili, a member of the For Georgia party, confirmed that his party will participate in the upcoming elections with their own party identity and symbol, listed as number 25.

Liluashvili noted that the For Georgia party did not attend the recent opposition meeting and is unaware of the decisions made there.

“Some decisions should be announced today. We do not yet know what the outcome of this issue will be. The components of the United National Movement from different times have gathered there, and I don’t know what decision they will make or how it will end. We were not involved in this process.

We will be represented in the elections with our party identity, with number 25. The task of these elections, the primary mission, is to create a configuration on the opposition flank that will allow us to push the government into opposition without allowing the United National Movement to return to power. The most important thing is that small parties, especially those with a common past and values, also the old and new associates of the United National Movement, should unite in a way that prevents votes from being lost and avoids giving more benefits to the Georgian Dream,” he stated.
