For Georgia and Strong Georgia leaders convene for discussions

Leaders of the Strong Georgia coalition and the For Georgia party, Mamuka Khazaradze and Giorgi Gakharia, are currently meeting at a hotel in Tbilisi.

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has urged Khazaradze and Gakharia to unite, inviting them for consultations at the Orbeliani Presidential Palace on September 17. The initial meeting time was set for 3 p.m.

In a move to facilitate this unity, Mamuka Khazaradze proposed that he and Giorgi Gakharia hold an in-person meeting before they visit with the President at the Orbeliani Palace.

Giorgi Gakharia later posted on Facebook that he had requested President Zourabichvili to postpone the meeting with Khazaradze by a few hours, a request that the President accepted. The rescheduled meeting is now set for 6 p.m.
