FM congratulates diplomats on Diplomacy Day

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili congratulated Georgian diplomats on Diplomacy Day.

“November 3 is the day which gives the opportunity to express a special attitude toward people who play key roles in the international arena in protecting national interests and strengthening Georgia’s reputation,” Darchiashvili said.

According to the FM, taking into account Georgia’s reality and facing challenges, Georgian diplomats have the “biggest mission” to fulfil to reach the goals such as a peaceful unification of the country, restoring sovereignty and accession into the European and Euro-Atlantic structures.

“I am sure that the team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with the diplomatic missions of Georgia abroad, will successfully cope with the set tasks in the future and will actively participate in the peaceful and democratic development of the country and the implementation of policies focused on state interests,” he said.
