FM Botchorishvili meets with Agriculture and Food Security Minister of Israel
Georgia’s Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili has held a meeting with Avi Dichter, the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security of Israel.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussion highlighted the enduring friendship between the Georgian and Jewish peoples, reaffirmed the strong partnership between Georgia and Israel, and underscored the existing close relations.
“The ministers reaffirmed their commitment to deepen cooperation, particularly in trade, economy, tourism, and agriculture. They placed special emphasis on food security as one of the most pressing challenges of the modern world and explored avenues for mutually beneficial collaboration in this area.
The conversation also addressed ongoing developments in the Middle East. Attention was given to the security situation in the South Caucasus region and the circumstances in Georgia’s occupied territories. The parties recognised the importance of maintaining peace and strengthening strong state institutions for sustainable development. The ministers also underscored the importance of diplomatic efforts to promote peace and stability worldwide,” the ministry stated.
