FM Botchorishvili meets Georgians living in New York

Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili held a meeting with Georgians living in New York.

According to the Foreign Ministry, “the meeting emphasized the important role of the Georgian diaspora in preserving national and cultural identity abroad, promoting Georgia, and presenting a positive image of the country.”

“It was emphasized that relations with the diaspora are one of the important priorities of the Government of Georgia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; the state is implementing several projects in this regard.

At the meeting, the Foreign Minister spoke about Georgia’s foreign policy priorities, the challenges facing the country, and the efforts made by the government to maintain peace and stability in the country.

The Head of the Foreign Ministry also responded to queries from diaspora representatives,” the Georgian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The meeting was held at the Consulate General of Georgia in New York.
