Flu virus expected to spread in Georgia

Case of severe flu virus has not been detected yet in Georgia, however first cases are expected to be fixed in the nearest future as the number of flu virus cases has recently increased in European region, – Khatuna Zakhashvili, the representative of National Center of Disease Control told to the First Channel.

According to her, the Center of Disease Control regularly supervises viruses and after its appearance more accurate prediction can be made.

National Center of Disease Control warns risk group patients – children, pregnant women and elderly people – to be particularly alert and attentive.
