First Vice Speaker says decision of de-facto Abkhazian parliament to lead to disturbance

The decision of the Abkhazian de-facto parliament and ratification of the agreement, which the de-facto government had with the occupying force will lead to serious disturbance in the Abkhazian society, said First Vice Speaker Gia Volski.

According to Gia Volski, the ruling team monitors the developments and will make a statement soon.

“The fact will cause serious disturbance and lead to a big confrontation. Therefore, we are monitoring the events and will make a statement shortly.

The part of the opposition, which handed over these territories to the Russian Federation, is busy with talking and it is incorrect to speculate that no radical statements are made, as if the statement could change the situation.

Statements were made when necessary, resolutions were adopted and our standpoint was confirmed by documents. The opposition is responsible for the current situation,” he said.

The separatist Abkhazian parliament ratified the agreement on the transfer of Bichvinta summer house to the Russian Federation.
