First Speaker says society knows nothing about money spent on lobbying
“Lobbyist activities are not unlawful. It is their duty to contribute to a contractor company, in this case, Formula TV, for the US Senators be informed through their channels. A half a million USD is spent on lobbyism,” said Gia Volski, First Vice Speaker.
According to Volski, the lobbyists failed to reach an agreement with American Senators to make harsh statements about Georgia.
Volski said that the U.S. Department of State published the information instead of any organization affiliated with opponents and all this became public through the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA).
“One trouble is that they spend half a million to take their views to the U.S. Senate, and another problem is that the public does not know anything about it,” Volski said.
The U.S. Department of State published a report on the 6-month activities of a lobbyist company hired by Formula TV.
