Finance Minister: ADB to expand its financing for public and private sector projects in Georgia
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is ready to continue and expand its financing for both public and private sector projects in Georgia, Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili announced following a meeting with ADB President Masato Kanda.
According to Khutsishvili, the discussion covered all ongoing ADB-funded projects in Georgia. President Kanda highlighted the country’s favourable economic environment, strong growth, and macroeconomic stability—key factors in securing further financial support.
“The ADB is a vital partner for Georgia, with a current investment portfolio of around $5.1 billion. The bank’s upcoming plans are ambitious, aiming to increase investment in Georgia and support job creation—one of its top priorities both here and across the region,” the Finance Minister said.
