Georgian Automobile Sports Federation joined the Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA)’s global project Fia Rally Star.
FIA Rally Star aims to discover, train and develop talented young drivers, FIA reported.
Spotted by the National Sporting Authorities, the best young people aged between 18 and 26 could join the World Rally Championship, benefiting from a sporting program set up by the FIA and its partners, FIA noted.
Georgia will be the first to open Fia Rally Star among more than 140 countries. The first qualifying round will kick off on February 14 at 10:00 am at the Dinamo Arena parking lot in Tbilisi.
The number of participants is limited.
