Fan travels 4,000 km on moped, brings national flag to Georgian Football Team

On June 15, the Georgian national team, preparing for the European Championship in Welbert, Germany, received a special visitor.

Fan Shadiman Kharshiladze travelled 4,000 km on a moped in 12 days, bringing the national flag with messages from fans to the team, the Georgian Football Federation reported.

The captain of the Georgian national team, Guram Kashia, presented him with a T-shirt autographed by the players.

The Georgian national team is set to play its first match at the European Championship against Turkey on June 18.
