Ex-President Saakashvili urges UNM members not to weaken party from inside
Jailed ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili called on members of the United National Movement to stop weakening the party from inside.
Via video link at today’s court trial, Mikheil Saakashvili urged the UNM members to mind their businesses outside instead of insulting and “biting” each other if they could not act in unity.
“We don’t need to be shaken from within. Leave and create something new. God bless you. Today, the unity of all Georgians has no alternative,” he said.
According to Mikheil Saakashvili, Georgia had unimaginable excellent prospects, but it was currently in a “poor camp” together with Hamas and Russia.
The ex-president said he was ready to take political responsibility to drive out this country from all hardships if everybody would “hold hands.”
Today’s trial discussed the ex-president’s charge on the November 7 case and the Imedi TV raid.
