Ex-President Saakashvili: EU FMs cited Rose Revolution, occasion that put Georgia on its finest light

“The European Union Foreign Ministers start their address from the Rustaveli stage by mentioning the Rose Revolution, a pivotal event putting Georgia on the global stage in its finest light,” the former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili wrote on social media.

Saakashvili observes that current developments and the youth, representing the generation of the Rose Revolution, position Georgia as a frontrunner in the global fight for democracy and liberty.

“Following our victory, Georgia will assume a much more prominent role on the world stage than ever before, surpassing even countries much larger and wealthier,” said Mikheil Saakashvili.
