The government should change through elections – the parliamentary elections that could be appointed only after this local race where everyone should vote, said Mikheil Saakashvili, ex-president of Georgia and Head of the Executive Committee, National Reforms Council of Ukraine.
According to Mikheil Saakashvili, active voting will bring the desired change and victory to Georgia. He said staying indolent and dropping the ballots would only benefit the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party, which spare no effort in inventing various schemes to rig the election results.
Ex-president added the proverb ‘the sleeping fox catches no poultry’ describes the current state of affairs the most. He further elaborated that foreign partners repeatedly told him they would hardly be able to help their much loved Georgia if the Georgian people themselves strive for no freedom or proper democratic system.
“Therefore, we have several days left to act. I will struggle together with the Georgian people actively and will care of nothing but what is right for Georgia,” Mikheil Saakashvili claimed.
