Everyone considering themselves friend of Saakashvili must be truthful, Parliament Speaker says
It has been demonstrated numerous times that Mikheil Saakashvili does not cooperate with doctors and prison administration; now we see that he does not cooperate with investigative structures to investigate his claims, said Shalva Papuashvili, Speaker of Georgia’s Parliament.
According to Papuashvili, Mikheil Saakashvili must collaborate with the relevant services.
“Several times, an invitation to take tests was offered because statements concerning his poisoning were made, which he sometimes confirmed, sometimes denied. We observed yesterday that someone wrote a letter to a Russian individual informing him that he had been poisoned. There are far too many lies, forgery, and misinformation in this situation, which require objective judgment, and an objective trial is currently underway,” Parliament Speaker says.
According to him, everyone who considers himself a friend of Saakashvili must be truthful.
“The first thing they should advise him to do is to cooperate with doctors, penitentiary service employees,” he added.
