EU's Borrell: Georgian gov't derailing from European path, EU ministers to decide next steps
“It’s clear that the Georgian government is derailing from the European track and the ministers will have to decide what to do,” European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell told reporters ahead of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels.
According to Borrell, this is the initial assessment of the current situation in Georgia at the level of ministers.
“It’s clear that the [Georgian] government is derailing from the European track and the ministers will have to decide what to do. The point about Georgia is not a full point in the agenda. It’s the first assessment of the situation at the level of ministers,” Josep Borrell declared.
