Dedaena Park in Tbilisi will host the opening ceremony of the U-21 European Championship one day before the tournament starts.
The journey of the UEFA U21 European Championship trophy began in Batumi on June 20. It toured the host cities of Batumi and Kutaisi, by the Coca-Cola caravan, before concluding its journey in Tbilisi.
The tournament will kick off on June 21, and the European Championship trophy will be awarded on July 8 in Batumi.
Food and entertainment spaces will be organized in the park from 7 PM. Additionally, GPB First Channel will provide incentives in sports raffles. Participants can win tickets to the opening match between Georgia and Portugal as well as sports attributes. Fans will be able to participate in various football competitions and raffles.
The official championship event will commence at 9 PM and be broadcast live on the GPB First Channel. Wishers will have the opportunity to take a commemorative photo with the trophy.
The Euro 2024 qualifying match Scotland vs. Georgia will be screened on a big monitor at 10:45 PM.
Georgia and Romania will host the U-21 European Championship from June 21 through July 8. Tbilisi, Kutaisi, and Batumi are the host cities. Tickets for the championship events are available at under21tickets.ge and the stadium box office.
