European Integration Committee finds it hard to foresee decision on Georgia's candidate status
The Chair of the Georgian parliamentary European Integration Committee, Maka Botchorishvili, said it was hard to foresee the decision to be made on Georgia’s EU candidate status in December.
Maka Botchorishvili believes the fulfilment of recommendations and coordination with partners is of primary significance.
“It is hard to predict what decision the EU 27 member states will make. Brussels report to be published this autumn will have a decisive importance in this process, but the understanding of the EU member states’ stance has equal significance,” she said, adding Georgia had much work ahead.
