European Council President reconfirms the EU's commitment to Georgia
European Council President, Charles Michel said he reconfirmed the EU’s commitment to Georgia at the meeting with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
According to Charles Michel, Georgia’s commitment to the EU path “remains strong.”
“Georgia’s commitment to the EU path remains strong. And I reaffirmed to PM Irakli Garibashvili the EU’s commitment to Georgia. The EU welcomes the continued efforts to advance on the reform agenda and the action plan to address the steps necessary, in the interest of the Georgian people,” he tweeted.
Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Garibashvili met the European Council President, Charles Michel within the framework of the 28th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28) in Dubai, UAE.
