EUCO conclusion to encompass Ukraine, Moldova, and Georgia, Slovak FM says

For the first time, Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia will be in the EUCO conclusion, said Andrej Stancik, Foreign and European Affairs Minister of Slovakia, ahead of the European Union Council meeting in Brussels that plans to consider the EU enlargement issue.

According to Andrej Stancik, Slovakia is a strong supporter of Ukraine and Ukraine’s EU integration. “Ukraine should be a part of our democratic family,” he stated.

“For the first time, Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia will be in the EUCO conclusion. We believe that EU enlargement is a vital part of our union, economy and political and geo-political reasons. We also support the candidate status for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which would give great impetus to politicians to continue reforming the country in a pro-European way,” he said.
