EuCham – Georgia tanks 18th place based on business environment

The EuCham, which ranks European countries based on their business environment ranked Georgia 18th amongst 46 countries with 69 points.

The research is grounded on indices of World Bank and Transparency International based on two main indicators – Doing Business report and point of corruption perception index.

The points are determined according to corporate environment, legislation, governmental policy and social climate that allows private sector to expand and develop in short or long term perspective.

An economy’s EuCham score is reflected by a scale of 0 to 100, where 0 represents the lowest performance and 100 represents the best. Denmark tops the ranking with a score of 86, followed by Sweden, Finland, Norway and the United Kingdom.
