EU Integration Committee Chair says PM addressed key issues and Georgia's regional significance at UN
“During the UN General Assembly, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze addressed various significant issues on Georgia’s agenda,” Maka Botchorishvili, Chair of the European Integration Committee, stated in an interview with GPB First Channel.
Botchorishvili highlighted the emphasis placed on Georgia’s importance in the region.
“The Prime Minister outlined all the crucial topics currently affecting Georgia. He underscored our nation’s significance within the region, particularly in terms of fostering peace and stability for the future. Naturally, we discussed the primary challenge facing Georgia: the ongoing occupation and our aspirations for peaceful reunification. The discussion also encompassed the global vision and role of our country, as well as its position as a vital corridor between the West and the East,” said Maka Botchorishvili.
Irakli Kobakhidze delivered his speech at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
