Ethiopian Airlines jet crashes, killing 157

An Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 passenger jet to Nairobi crashed today with 149 passengers and eight crew members aboard, there were no survivors, – the airline said.
After leaving the Bole airport in Addis Ababa the airplane lost contact with the control tower just a few minutes later. Plane carried passengers from 33 countries.
The cause of the crash is unknown yet. The search and rescue operations are underway.
