Environment Agency warns of challenging meteorological conditions until March 24
The National Environment Agency of Georgia warns the public regarding the anticipated weather conditions in the country.
From March 22 until the morning of March 24, Georgia is expected to experience rainfall and snowfall in high mountains and dense fog in some locations.
“The anticipated precipitation can cause swelling of small rivers and the formation-activation of landslide and avalanche processes in the mountainous regions,” the Agency stated.
Traffic restrictions might be imposed at certain road sections due to the risk of avalanches and poor visibility.
