England wins 2023 UEFA Euro U-21

England won the 2023 UEFA Euro Under-21 Championship. It played a decisive match against Spain in the finals and defeated the rival with a score of 1:0.

The match England vs Spain was held at the Batumi Arena on July 8. A total of 18 490 spectators attended the football game.

The First Channel of the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) live-broadcasted the game.

It is an interesting detail that Georgia hosted the European Youth Championship twice and England won it both times.

In 2017 U-19, held in Gori, England beat Portugal with a score of 2:1. Therefore, Georgia is a lucky country for England.

Georgia and Romania co-hosted the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship.
