Eight people detained for an attempt to cross Azerbaijan-Georgia state border illegally

Eight people have been detained for having attempted to cross the Azerbaijan-Georgia state border illegally.

There are 5 juveniles, the elder – born in 1999, among the detained persons as Azerbaijani media reports.

According to the Azerbaijani Border Control Service, the detained persons tried to cross the state border from the territory of Sadikli checkpoint on November 3. An investigation into the case is opened.
