Eight Georgian companies take part in Saudi Arabia Agriculture Exhibition

Eight Georgian companies presented their products to the visitors at the Saudi Agriculture International Trade Exhibition in Riyadh, organized by the Agricultural Development Agency.

The Agency Director, Davit Tsitlidze and the temporary envoy of Georgia in Saudi Arabia, Ioseb Gamgonidze, attended the exhibition opening.

“Diversification of our export markets is significant. Saudi Arabia is one of the fastest-growing economies. Georgian products are sold in the local trade network, however, participation in such a large-scale international exhibition, I think, will significantly contribute to the Georgian products’ export growth both in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East,” said Davit Tsitlidze.

Georgian companies Agroqiziki, Tskali Margebeli, Achinebuli, Anigozi, Khoni Plantations, Kampa, Jimanatsi and Tsezari participated in the exhibition having exhibited nuts, blubberies, water, dry fruits, lamb and mutton and organic juices.

Up to 40 countries with over 400 local and international companies took part in the 40th edition of the Saudi Agriculture International Trade Exhibition held on October 23-26 this year attracting 18 thousand visitors.
