Ministry of Education, Science And Youth of Georgia, on Monday, said “Salome Zourabichvili’s claim that children’s personal information is being gathered in schools for particular objectives is false and does not relate to the truth.”
As stated in the Ministry, “spreading such disinformation is a deliberate action aimed solely at discrediting the educational system.”
“The education management information system collects, stores, processes, analyses, and administers data per the provisions of Georgia’s Law On Personal Data Protection.
We urge certain people to stop disseminating disinformation that intentionally misleads the public,” reads the statement.
