Education Minister participates in English Language, Assessment Conference
Georgian Minister of Education and Science, Giorgi Amilakhvari participated in the Conference Great Britain: Best Experience Sharing in English Language Learning and Assessment.
The Minister stressed that through the UK-Georgia partnership, the quality and methodology of English language teaching significantly improved in the country.
He said that the Ministry together with the British Embassy in Georgia and the British Council elaborated a strategy that aims to raise the qualification among English teachers and development of educational resources.
“In the modern technological era, it is necessary to develop various necessary skills among our children so that they can adapt freely in the current competitive environment. In this direction, it is very important to strengthen the knowledge of foreign languages, especially English,” Giorgi Amilakhvari said.
