Education Minister opens Qartvelology Centre at Yerevan State University

Giorgi Amilakhvari, Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth Affairs, who pays a working visit to Armenia, took part in the solemn opening of the Qartvelology Center at the Yerevan State University, together with Zhanna Andreasyan, Armenian Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport.

Giorgi Amilakhvari addressed the guests and spoke about deepening the historic friendship between Georgia and Armenia. He stressed that Georgian and Armenian scientists’ cooperation and joint work held deep-rooted significance.

The Minister gifted the centre with a museum edition of the Knight in the Panther’s Skin. Georgia’s Ambassador to Armenia, Giorgi Sharvashidze, attended the centre’s opening ceremony.
