Georgian Minister of Education, Science and Youth Affairs Giorgi Amilakhvari participated in the festive graduation ceremony of the 2024 BA and MA students of the Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University (TSU).
The Minister congratulated the students on graduation and wished them success. Giorgi Amilakhvari and TSU Rector Jaba Samushia awarded special prizes to students with outstanding academic performance.
The graduates took memorable photos in the TSU courtyard and attended a reception at Turtle Lake. Approximately 3,600 students graduated from the 240 programs at the TSU in 2024, among them FIBAA and FIBAA internationally-accredited foreign programs.
The Tbilisi State University had its first graduation in 1922. During this time, more than 300 thousand students graduated from TSU. In the new 2024-2025 academic year, the TSU will receive over 8,200 newbies.
