EDF Vice President: Georgia very attractive country, meets our standards

“Georgia has a lot of potential for generating clean energy, hydro resources, and cross-border trade (cbt). Therefore, this country is very attractive and meets our standards,” said Yann Guinard, the Vice President of the International Sector of EDF, during the panel discussion at the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum.

Guinard noted that the ongoing reforms in Georgia, as well as three crucial policy components, influence the choice to invest in this nation.

“Continuous efforts to enact reforms and establish a business-friendly climate, to implement structural reforms in the energy sector, and fight against climate change is critical,” he stressed.
